This is a WWI German camo helmet model M17 produced by and sized TJ66, a large shell size. The camo paint scheme is done in a very attractive pattern and rates at least 95% intact. The camo colors are quite vivid. It displays beautifully from all angles. The three liner pins and steel liner band are original to the helmet and untouched and in place. This helmet would make a great addition to any militaria collection. This piece is 100% original and produced pre1918 (not a Latvian fanciful recreation).
