WWI German Pickelhaube Black Leather Spike Helmet

I believe this is a WWI German helmet. I know very little about these so let the photos be the main description. It is black leather. The front plate is all there but is somewhat loose. Spike is in great shape. Chin strap is gone and inside leather lining in obvious used condition. The metal along the front lower rim is loose in the middle, but the sides are still securely attached. This could be a youth sized helmet as it is smaller than the other one I currently have listed. Please ask any questions you might have before bidding.
Will be carefully bubble wrapped!
