    Description

    Up for auction is a cap tally for the Imperial Germany Navy for the S.M.S.  POMMERN.  It is 43" in length with gilt wire.  She was a pre-dreadnought battleship commissioned in 1907.  She started her career with the High Seas Fleet until the Battle of Jutland during WWI.  She was hit by one shell and either one or two torpedoes during the fight, exploded, broke in half, and sunk.  There were no survivors.
