RARE original German Army M16 transition helmet from World War I / II
A very beautiful original helmet from M16, this is the original of the First World War. A great example of this rare helmet.
And again, a great all-round helmet !!!
This is the original Austrian-German M16 Stalnhelm helmet from the First World War. This is a very rare helmet. The helmet has pits, but there are no other holes than what it should be. I looked for the manufacturers' markings on the helmet and I think I can make out where they once were, but the markings were sometimes very small and light, especially on large shells, so they were not visible due to pitting. I also found the original green paint, so I'm pretty sure the helmet is original. In addition, the helmet has pitting corrosion which, as far as I know, only occurs on very old metal, so I'm sure the helmet is original. The body has original green paint, although 99.9% of it is not.
