WW1 WW2 German 1916 M16 Stahlhelm Steel Helmet Original Military Not m18 m35 m42

Original German WW1 and WW2 M1916 Stahlhem shell size 62. Stamped "G62" made by
Gebrueder Gnuechtel A.G., lower part of the G is visible and the 6 and 2 are visible. Helmet is in very good condition, it is solid with no signs if heavy pitting, no holes, dents, cracks, or gouges. The outer shell is in very good shape with no pitting or damage. The helmet has its original bare steel pre-paint finish and on the outer shell the originlal bare steel surface is showing along with some surface patina/weathered paint.  Inner shell has some areas of bare steel showing along with patina/weathered paint. Helmet vent lugs and chinstrap lugs are still intact. This is a very, very nice helmet to add to your WW1 or WW2 collection as it is in excellent shape and is better condition than most stahlhelms. This helmet would make a perfect display piece, or if you are a reenactor, this helmet would be great because it is in excellent condition and can be easily repainted and fitted with a liner and it would look good.
