    Description

    This is a very hard to find Bavarian WW1 OFFICERS helmet in above good shape. The Bavarian front insignia has a great patina, both cockades are in good shape ,the chin strap which is useally never there is interacted and has had the bright brass toned down for the battle field by being darkened, this has seen battlefield use. The liner is perfect , which is amazing , most are ratty. The helmet has has a slight leather shrinkage as expected for this original , and some leather surface cracking , that in my opinion effects nothing. Just a great helmet, one of the stars has been replaced, could be easyly fixed.
