    Description

    Original letter and return envelope from Westminster Senior-Junior High School to Albert Bros. Hardware Co. dated May 14, 1953.  It is from the Athletic Committee to "business houses in the community."  Signed by Herbert E. Ruby, Chairman, Athletic Committee, they are asking Albert Bros. Hardware to again buy a one-eigth page ad in their football program at a cost of .00.  Letter is tri-folded like it was when placed in envelope and mailed to the store.
    Also included is the original return envelope from Westminster High School to "Athletic Committee."  It has the original 3 cent stamp still attached.  It was never mailed, so stamp is not cancelled.  Stamp is for the Louisiana Purchase Sesqui-Centennial 1803-1953; Signing the Louisiana Transfer in Paris 1803; Monroe Livingston and Marbois.
    Both pieces are in excellent condition.  I will place both in plastic sleeve and add a piece of white foam board for stability while mailing by USPS First Class in a bubble envelope.
