offered is a rare original Q64 M42 German helmet with batch number DN539. liner band has been factory installed and is original to this helmet, but the leather liner has been field replaced with Italian liner leather, quite rare to see in any German helmet. Quist M42 helmets are very rare since the Quist factory only produced them in a size 64 and very late in the war, still continuing with their M40 production until a few months before the end of conflict. it will make a great addition to your helmet collection.
