Being offered is a truly fine example of the type of star proudly worn by the elite Saxon Garde du Corps and Garde Cuirassier officers.
This badge is full-sized, measuring 5-7/8 inches across its face. It is correct in every detail with its stamped German silver outer star, multi-part inner medallion with gilt highlights and enamelled Reichs eagle and laurel wreath.
Perfect for mounting on an officer's M1889 helmet or simply for display in its own right, a beautiful piece.
